Into Your Own

There is something wonderful about coming into your own. It is like a beautiful melody that feels right with every tune. When the tune is paired with the perfect lyric; the moment when each word sits in place and surrenders to the tune in a way that says they are mean to be. Sometimes, in fact, it is accidental, sometimes it is a case of trial and error and then success......no matter how you get there, we all have a time when it all starts to align and we notice that truly "I am coming into my own."

One of the misconceptions about the idea of "coming into your own" is that you have to wait for the stars to align; you have to wait for the perfect moments to come to life before you can access this phase of your life. Right?.....Wrong! I truly believe that you have the responsibility of coming into your own. This is when you take charge and responsibility for your actions and you choose the path that isn't always the easiest but for the future gain of being who you said you will be. 

The definition of "your own" is yours to define. It is never who you are now but it is certainly who you want to be. Coming into your own does not happen overnight. In reality, it takes some time, but each day when you make a decision based on who you know you want to be, you are walking closer to "coming into your own." 

There are opportunities before you, there are paths laid out for you in your pursuit to be the amazing planner I know you are. However, one else can define what "your own" is, you have to own it. You have to choose to not give up on growing your skills to gain the knowledge to be who you want to be. 

The more knowledge you gain, the more you find yourself dancing to the tune of your own because as your pour into yourself you are full enough to settle into your sound, create your words, and thrive as a planner. 

Be authentic and be you. 

I wrote longer than intended today because I am passionate about encouraging you to come into your own.
